I met your husband today in Arran.  He told me about your web page. I really like your work.  Is it possible to have a bit more info on your web page eg size, if it is oil, crayon etc and price

    Hi Alison
Thanks for taking a look and for your comments. If you click on the images the information comes up about each picture ie.size, medium, price, postage costs. Some of the originals for the greetings cards are still available but most are sold. All the pictures in the gallery are original. I can do A4 prints of any of the pictures if you wish. Let me know if a particular greetings card image is of interest and I can let you know if the original is available. I also take commissions.

    Best wishes Karen

Your artwork is really lovely. Very calm and humble, reminds me of when I was little and going on family holidays :)

Hello Karen.  I purchased ‘Barefoot on the Beach’ yesterday, from the Smokehouse Gallery;  I couldn’t resist its beauty.  The light is so uplifting.  Your sky is incredible.  And the sad figure of the lonely boy (as I project onto him)arouses feelings of compassion.  The reflection in the shallows is superb and has a photographic quality.  If I can get along to the fair at Kelso next weekend, I will.  Of the unsold paintings in your gallery, I particularly like the old borders road with the shadow of the tree across it; the perspective looks excellent.  Would you be taking that along to Springwood Park?  Best wishes for your continued success.  Susan

Hi Susan, I just picked up your message after my weekend in Kelso. It went well. Thankyou for purchasing Barefoot on The Beach. It is also one of my favourites and I am pleased someone has it who appreciates it so much. The Old Borders Road is currently in The Cloudhouse in Stow. Thanks again. Karen Nelson
